Start with the devices you actually carry
Lay out your phone, headphones, laptop and any other devices you plan to use. Then choose the cables and chargers that work with those devices. Check the connectors and charging requirements before removing a spare: two cables that look similar may not do the same job.
A compact everyday kit might include a charging cable, a compatible wall charger, earbuds, a small power bank and a USB adapter. Bring only the items you need for that day.
Give each accessory a place
Coil cables loosely and secure them with reusable ties. Use smaller compartments for adapters and USB drives, and keep the cable you reach for most somewhere easy to access. With a double-layer pouch, you can separate small loose accessories from bulkier items.
Avoid tight bends at cable connectors. Do not force the zip closed over a charger or power bank that is too large for the compartment.
Check the fit before choosing a pouch
Compare the dimensions of your largest accessory with the pouch, allowing room for seams, the zip and other items. Exterior dimensions are not a guarantee that an object of the same size will fit inside. Laptop charging bricks, travel adapters and power banks vary considerably.
Reset your kit before the next trip
After using your kit, return each accessory to its usual compartment. Before leaving, check that your devices are charged and that the cables you need are back in the pouch. A quick check is easier when every item has a consistent place.
